For booking, please fill out our contact form at www.sunnydownpour.com/contact. Once you fill out our form, we will get back to you within 72 hours (likely right away, but sometimes we are off in the mountains exploring without service!). From there, we will reach out to you to get more information about your event and we can start dreaming and scheming to make your event everything you desire.
We recommend booking us as soon as possible to secure your date, as our calendar tends to fill up quickly. Many of our clients book at least 6 months in advance, especially for weddings and peak event seasons. If your event is coming up sooner, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request if we’re available!
Our pricing is tailored to the unique needs of each event, allowing us to provide a boutique quote that reflects the services you’re looking for. While we’re in the process of creating set pricing structures, we currently customize every package to include what matters most to you as we offer services far beyond music—including MC services, DJing, special song requests, professional sound recording, and more. Contact us to share your vision, and we’ll craft a quote that fits your event perfectly!
Yes, we’re happy to accommodate special song requests and can learn virtually any song in any style to make your event truly memorable. To ensure we deliver a top-quality performance, we require advance notice and charge a fee for each requested song. This covers the time and effort needed to rehearse and perfect your special selection.
We use a top-of-the-line PA system valued at over $6,000, featuring two 12-inch and two 15-inch Alto Truesonic Professional powered speakers (each at 800 watts) and two QSC K112 Subwoofers, all run through a Behringer XAIR18 digital mixer. For off-grid or smaller events, we have a fully battery-powered setup with two JBL EON One Compact speakers. Our microphone selection includes an Ear Trumpet Labs Josephine condenser for rich, detailed sound, alongside trusted vocal mics like the SM58 and Beta58, and instrument mics such as the SM57 and Audix i5. We also carry all necessary cables, stands, and accessories to ensure a seamless audio experience at any venue—no matter the power situation!
We’re fully equipped for both on- and off-grid performances! For smaller, more intimate groups and ceremonies, we can play completely acoustically. When amplification is needed and there’s no access to conventional power, we have a reliable battery-powered system that allows us to perform anywhere. We can also run off a standard 110 generator if needed.
Absolutely! We offer a range of professional lighting options for evening performances, including floodlights, LED PAR fixtures, and accent lights. Our top-of-the-line lighting system allows us to make tasteful adjustments that fit any mood—whether you want a soft, romantic glow or a vibrant dance-floor vibe. We’ll work with you to ensure the lighting perfectly complements your event’s ambiance!
Yes, we love to travel! In addition to performing in our primary Colorado destinations, we have played off-grid weddings in the Holy Cross Wilderness, stargazing festivals in Arkansas, and led music retreats in Mexico. Whether your event is nearby or in a far-off destination, we’re happy to discuss travel logistics and any associated fees to make your celebration unforgettable. Let us know where you need us, and we’ll be there!
For outdoor events, we understand that unpredictable weather can be a challenge—especially in Colorado! We typically work with clients beforehand to create a backup plan for bad weather to ensure your event can proceed smoothly. If an event needs to be canceled, we require at least 10 days’ notice. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, and if the cancellation occurs within 10 days of the event, the remaining balance will still be due. However, we know unexpected weather happens, and we’ll do our best to accommodate a rescheduled date whenever possible.
Yes, we carry insurance for all our performances. Having band insurance offers peace of mind for everyone involved, protects our equipment, and meets the requirements of many venues. It also ensures we’re covered in the event of any unforeseen incidents, so we can focus on delivering a worry-free, high-quality musical experience for you and your guests.
